In a nutshell it’s how elections are run in the US, by crowdfunding and all else. You have your PACs too. It’s all fairly well managed by the FEC which is a bipartisan body, that polices when people spend such earned funds on anything untoward, whether that’s using funds you raised to buy a car (ie. Grifting etc) or paying hush money to porn stars. Federal election fundraising is miles more regulated than say the kickstarters you see where people can just start one to raise funds for one thing and then feck off with the money and live off it. No more grifting than any campaign or political action committee receiving or soliciting funds.

It's a software solution to allow for small donor fundraising. They report all donations to FEC. Sounds to me like a pretty transparent platform. The Republicans have an equivalent called WinRed. So have you any actual proof of grifting?

This is, again, a clear misunderstanding of the role ActBlue plays. It’s as if you’re saying GoFundMe coordinates all the funds people post on their in some conspiratorial manner.

I read Reuters, the financial times and sometimes the Associated press.

The first two are probably the most least biased media sources out there.

Some of you are happy to only hear opinions that back up your argument. Confirmation bias is the term I believe.

Personally I'd like to see it. In one corner you would have the defending champion telling lies, throwing personal insults and talking in circles.
In the other corner comes the challenger. A man who struggles to make any point, cant string a coherent sentence together and doesn't seem like he actually wants to be president.
