Here is some further information regarding it, including how they will implement all their safety measures. They will be limiting it to 200 people apparently.

I just read on Facebook that the Birds amusements are coming to Tralee for 2 weeks in the Harriers grounds. I don't know what dates but it seems a bit ridiculous that they are coming. They were asked not to come to Killarney.

They do hot food, they order it in from the daily grind, same crowd.

I thought town was extremely busy today, like a normal August day! Traffic hold ups everywhere, I deliberately didn't go down town over the weekend in case it was busy so left it until today but there was a hell of a lot of cars about anyway.

That's what I was wondering! I know they used to do hot food, but that was a good few years ago now. I didn't think they served food anymore. I'm sure there are plenty of bars who would love to be open at the moment but are not going to take that risk!

Yes. There are small lay-bys just past the entrance with space for no more than a handful of cars.

Non existent, there are some wider spots on the road but not sure there would be enough room for emergency services if a car was pulled in there, I would say drive up past it, seem to remember a wider section where you may be able to park on the grass off the road.
Viewing point at the top would be a good hike, probably too far

I've parked on the road just up from the entrance to Scotias grave. It's tight but there is room.

The viewing point at the top of the Short mountain road. It’s a good walk back down to Scotias Grave though. You might get a spot on the side of the road past the entrance but can’t picture any myself. I was up there a few weeks ago in Runners. It’s fine

see the masts on mountain top.get up there.you will find two viewing points/car parks on either side of roadway .one looks north over tralee/fenit/traleebay.the other looks south over castlemaine/mplltown/killorglin/dingle bay.on your way up to masts you will see sign for scotias grave.have good walking boots.bit rough

Best way I've found it is to find the lane that heads towards the aerials that overlook Tralee. It's about a quarter of the way up.

Thanks! I grew up in Ballyard and I couldn't even remember how to get there despite being up there many times! I actually haven't been up that way in so long, I must go up there sometime. I Always loved cycling up there as kids. We used to go to a lovely little area where there was a stream and have picnics! Good times
