I hate gravel. Tarmacadam is the only way to go. Gravel is like having ditch finders on in the wet.

Its a bit of a bizzare sales pitch alright. I would have thought the enthusiast would be going for the GT 20 valve - at that money they may as well go the extra and go for one anyway. The car seems to look very tarted up for the photos to me.

The last time I saw one of those Corollas there were 4 rather large, old farmers, parked in the middle of four fuel pumps (blocking them) and all 4 hanging out the windows eating cones.

It was a fantastic scene, and I’m sure it’s exactly what the owner of the Corolla is pitching, and I agree.

Bumpers look very fresh. Normal weathering would probably have faded them at this stage.

Have a 96 XLi at home, nice car, but couldn't get to four figures if I was buying or selling in my head....

Nothing special about the number plate as far as I can see, also they didn’t even bother to clean out the ashtray properly.
I’m also pretty sure I know of another one of these, so I don’t think it’s the only one in the country.
