If someone comes at me and is obviously preparing to do damage they'll get a couple of fast cracks, regardless of gender, so yes. And at 6' 2'' and nearly 17 stone, they will feel it.

Edit - I read somewhere on my many studies on violence that a woman needs to be 33% heavier than a man to have a chance going toe to toe everything else being equal. If the OP for example is of average body makeup, yer looking at a woman being 80kg to have a chance. She also needs to have similar or better body composition.

Perhaps place a weapon in the hands of her?
A knife needs to penetrate a very short distance to cause serious damage.
Any kind of weapon is a danger.

As for the woman needing to be a certain size/weight/strength to be a danger?

I know a guy who's seemingly lovely delicate and "petite" Mrs has broken his ankle aswell as causing numerous other injuries that needed medical intervention.
Without weapons for the most part(unless you count the high heels he was nearly blinded with once)

If someone, regardless of gender wants to attempt to inflict violence?
They should not feel surprised if their victim decides to defend themselves.
Nor should their victim be shamed by being labelled a "woman-beater"

As for plans, reactions and civility?
Quite often, once you get punched in the face, they are all forgotten about until the aftermath.

No, it is not going to work for them toe-to-toe, because I don't have any misplaced notions of nobility and will put someone back on their arse very fast if they attack me, regardless of what they use to piss with. In my experience the sort of woman who would physically attack you isn't worth bothering about anyway.

Nah, and besides there are other means of self-defence besides leaving yourself open to being charged with assault.

Weapons involved and the situation is different. I'm not advocating taking a softly softly approach. If someone does violence they have no justification in being surprised if it comes back in spades.

My man was attacked by the missus with a brush while trying to put down a baby, ended up in a tussle after he had put the baby in the cot. The two of them ended up in the bathroom and fell into the bath, he done damage to his ankle. Attacked him in his sleep with a heel another time.

Or waking him at 3/4a.m to commence screaming at him and throwing stuff or hitting him.

I remember an incident many many years ago at house party, very drunk girlfriend of a friend tried to stab him with a knife, or more tried to hit at him with the knife, he pushed her away and she falls hitting her arm off table, starts howling crying, her friends rush in to see girl crying on ground and they start attacking the guy going nuts, cops are called and guy is taken to station.

So lets say a woman tried to stab you, as unlikely as this maybe, or indeed if a 14 year old did and you bury them with a punch and their are no witnesses and the cops arrive and there is an injuried woman/kid and you standing there without a scratch claiming the crying girl/child is a loon....it's not gonna end well for you.

Depends really, If a female tried to attack me with a knife or hammer or something like that obviously would do whatever it takes so definitely would hit a women in those circumstances.

If they had no weapon I would just restrain them.

It depends if the women had balls, she'd probably have male level's of testosterone aswell. So she could inflict plenty of damage. Self defence would be justified. Didn't Jordans cross dressing x beat up someone before, she "the X" was build like a tank.
