Allow me to explain why the 'All Live Matter' hashtag is awful.

If you are using the 'alllivesmatter' hashtag and don't know any better or are confused why people are mad at you let me explain it:
1. The original hashtag 'BlackLivesMatter' was a reaction to a string of well documented cases of police brutality that resulted in the death of a long list of unarmed black people. On top of that there was no appropriate punishment for the police officers involved. They mostly got paid or unpaid leave until the heat died down and continued back at their jobs after that. Meanwhile the families and friends of the deceased got no justice. This sends shockwaves of trauma throughout the immediate community, the country of the US and the rest of the black population outside of the US too. This original hashtag started to really shine a light of the system wide oppression of black people in America and elsewhere.
2. The oppressors decided that this hashtag would gather too much momentum and decided they needed to water it down and dilute it with 'alllivesmatter' to protect the racist system that they benefit from. And to some degree it's working (COINTELPRO). Every time you use that hashtag you are doing the work of the oppressor. You are being used as a pawn. You are being manipulated into diluting a movement that's main goal is end police brutality.
2a. Nobody using the 'BlackLivesMatter hashtag is saying Only Black Live Matter. It is universally understood that all lives matter.
3. So, now that you are educated on the deceitful and hateful and manipulative reasons for this 'alllivesmatter' hashtag to exist you should stop doing the work of the oppressor and stop using it and stop being used.
3a. If you've read all this and understand it and still use the 'alllivesmatter' hashtag then shame on you. You are a terrible human.

I don't get the point here? Homo Sapiens (aka humans as we know them) and Neanderthals are cousins. We didn't evolve from Neanderthals, we evolved from Homo Erectis and Homo Habilis. We interbreed with Neanderthals, thats why there is so much common DNA in most parts of the world between Homo Sapiens and Neanderthals.

It has been somewhat overegged in the media and some scientists because they didn't expect to find any, so 0.2% is a big deal. Europeans on the other hand would have more like 2%, even 4% if you go by the old scale and longer sequences with it. Ditto for East Asians and they have Denisovan on top(some populations have near 9-10% Denisovan going on).

On the archaic admixture front there are fairly well defined mixes along geographical and old style "race" lines. Europeans have Neandertal and no Denisovan, or any of the African archaic lines. Asians have both Denisovan and Neandertal(though different to Europeans which suggests two different times when we broke out the flowers, Champagne and the Barry White CD), but no African archaic. Africans(sub Saharan in particular) have no Denisovan and tiny amounts of Neandertal from backwash or a holdover from a common ancestor, but do have African archaic humans of their own equivalent to Neandertals/Denisovans.

Never mind that it looks like there's a third, likely a fourth archaic in the mix in Asia and Africa respectively. There are almost certainly more going on. Though maybe more relevant to this discussion on "race" is how through time we perceived these archaics. Neandertals were the first to be identified(and given their name by a lad from Galway) and because of bad reconstructions and perceptions of the time of the "Missing Link" and deep seated holdovers from religion, they were painted as primitives, pre Adam, not human ape men with cudgels and grunts. That general idea persisted. After all if you think about it of all the other humans that have called this planet theirs, the only scientific named one in the common mind, and as an insult, is "Neandertal". The African Americans who buy into the Nation if Islam type stuff clutch to it as an explanation and insult.

However when we found that modern Europeans were related to them, there was a *gulp* moment, but then it was interesting to see them being reevaluated overnight and the bias went the other way and looked for commonalities and innovation and intelligence and culture etc. And found it. Most of which was hiding in plain sight in museums and research centres for decades. But because of the "primitive missing link" bias it was largely ignored. The reconstructions of what they looked like moved away from the ape and more and "European". From Hairy Ugg with cudgel to pale skinned, light eyed and red haired and body painted and ornamented. In not much more than a year, maybe 18 months.

Basically it illustrates how bias can be so popular and persuasive and "fact" and sometimes even aggressively protective of itself, even when the raw facts stare you in the face. We see this in both White and Black, or Whomever racists. They may start from different ports, but they follow the same heading to the same degree and destination.

Only the "Rheinlandbastard" (I'll let you look that up yourself) in the 30's were set for sterilisation and that numbered a few hundred out of 20 odd thousand Blacks living in Germany at the time.
