The encryption of Whatsapp can also be broken as Jeff Bezos found out when the Saudis hacked his phone to find out about his affair and leaked it to the media. Bezos was sent a whatapp message by the Crown Prince MBS, he opened it and it launched a virus in the background which downloaded all his data, conversations, photos, the lot.
