I would gladly wear a mask if it's part if the conditions to go to a gig or cinema etc. Very small price to play. I agree mostly but think public health will mean large gatherings are last thing to come back. Guess longer they don't hopefully closer to a vaccine if one can be made but agree its unlikely can wait all that time. Finding the balance is the tricky bit.

Thanks, I did send a request in a few months ago for one of the first reschudled gigs using that think i think but didnt hear anything back will try again and hope they dont say its too late for a refund now.

Just select Refund/exchange - put in the order details, in the question section say you want a refund as the rescheduled date doesnt suit and submit

Definitely not but I still think gigs might be one of last things to come back especially if social distancing is around. Might not be viable for a lot of gigs but hopefully by next year might see steady return to more gigs all going well

Yeah meant to be going to Bon Iver's rescheduled gig in January, dunno about crowds and social distancing by then. And even if it could go ahead with social distancing would be reduced capacity so even if it was worth their while would probably have to cancel and resell again so may not be worth it.

It's small venue related to a large degree and there's a ton of young people who go for the "craic" not the music-It's an institution with it's non-music related social scene and it's been that way for years- I mean, with a HUGE amount of imagination, multiple gigs by the artists over the course of a day, a "break" in Covid infections, a much more lax approach to social distancing rules, and no big insurance premiums, it MIGHT work. Just saying that probably shows just a small percentage of the problems- less accommodation due to the rules, possible travel restrictions, less people inclined to go for the music element due to their age etc etc etc- with the best will in the world there's any number of issues - it's sad though.

Gigs for 2020 are pretty much dead in the water, given current Govt guidelines. It's so sad to see. It would be a nightmare trying to organise a CJF conforming with whatever guidelines are in place at that time- all festivals need volumes of people to make them work and balance the books.

I think its cause there is so much uncertainty. After 20th July it's only up to a maximum of 100 people indoor which wouldn't be viable even for smaller gigs with social distancing. No roadmap of when or how gigs can return either
