New build keeps crashing.

I have put the Pc together. installed windows 10 and before I get 10 minutes on it. a momentary fast spin of fans then pc stops. reboots and only black screen. Any ideas.

I have installed windows 10 on both ssds with same result.

Any help appreciated.

I have tried installing on each ssd.
Apparently that ryzen chip doesn't support onboard graphics.
I have just installed again and am at the intro screen.
I have disconnected a few fans. ill update shortly.

Could be anything at this point, sadly. If you're running with DOCP (AMDs version of XMP I might have the acronym wrong) I'd disable that and run at the default.

So you managed to clean install Windows 10 (which takes a while) but once it's in Windows it crashes?

The RAM is on that boards QVL list so i reckon it's something else. My money is on a bogey PSU. I used have a EVGA PSU and same thing kept happening to me. Swapped it for a Corsair and Bob's yer uncle.

Yes. If the memory is not on the QVL it's one more thing eliminated.

OP be realistic removing fans and installing w7 which there is probably no drivers for anyway is not going to resolve anything.

I would disable XMP as suggested, I'm not familiar with ryzen but if its overclocking the cpu by default in the bios also turn that off, I've seem that some mobos have this feature from default.

Of course. It is not a not a solid PSU. You'd be much better with a weaker, but more modern PSU. Or memory.

Don't bother with installing different Windows.

Ryzen 3600 does not have integrated graphics

It wont stay on long enough to run anything. I cant get windows 7 on it either as the keyboard or mouse wont work. Im about to lose it I kid you not.

its beginning to sound like Ram

did you try booting with just stick at a time in different slots?

If you have tried all slots and different combinations

you need to run memtest

well it sounds like its either Ram or PSU, if it was me, I would try memtest first

Are getting any bluescreens? They'd have error codes. I had a nightmare with a 3600 system recently and it ended up being the CPU that was faulty but its an unlikely scenario. It could be anything as has been said but the most likely culprit would be the PSU or the RAM.
