Freshly roasted coffee beans online

My usual store to buy freshly roasted beans is 20 mins from my house and these days I go that direction less and less so I'm looking for an online supplier that will ship me beans roasted at least in the last 2 weeks. I go through a kg a month so a subscription would suit. Where do you recommend

That'd good to hear. It matches up with what I thought about a Guatemalan I got in the local Co-op.

500g of the Burundi it is so.

It is a bit, but nothing too bad and certainly not something my unrefined palate will notice. It will be interesting to see the roast date on the following months.

The oldest I have had from Bell Lane up until now was 3-4 days max before order date. I think they roast pretty often.

My roast date from Bell lane was June 10th, which is fine. As long as I'm drinking it within 1 month of roast date I'm fine with it.
Generally ordering from the roaster results in good roast dates ,sometimes buying off the shelf in cafe's has some pretty old roast dates, even from pretty good cafe's.

You tried it yet, what do you think of it? I had it from the bean to cup this morning. IMHO it's OK, nothing great. I might try grinding it and using the moka pot at the weekend to see if that suits better.

I had a bit of bother dialing it in.

I pretty much only ever use 3Fe and nearly all their coffee's come in on similar setting. Had to make some big adjustments for this.

Agreed, it's alright. I might need to play with it a bit more

I like it, it's a good espresso. nice citrus flavours. Haven't dialed it in 100% yet but so far so good.

The flavours are a bit overpowerd by the milk in Cappuccino.

Ordered a few bags from Dream Beans pretty much one of each of their range so stocked for a while. 3 bags for the price of 4 and free shipping can't go wrong. Ordered Monday got yesterday roasted date 15th June.

Have to say all the Bell lane I have got has been amazing coffee

Robusta coffee beans have 80% more caffeine than Arabica, so maybe look for a blend that has a highish percentage of robusta.

Instant coffee mostly 100 % robusta, can't beat those.

This I really like. Strong and very flavorsome. The spiel says the pearl beans are larger than normal, more spherical and more strongly flavoured than normal beans. I found the description to be very accurate.

I was in Coffeeangel yesterday and picked up a bag of San Jacinto from Honduras .

Roast date - 16/06. Certainly one for the pour over, great flavour from it. I think it was €9.50

Tried some Badger and Dodo beans last week.

B&D don't do darker roasts apparently, so I got a bag of the best they were doing at the time: Uganda.

Didn't think much of it tbh. Thin & insipid no matter how I brewed it ( FP/AP).
