I know these type peoples brains don’t work like ours but why they continued/continue doing what they do past the point of needing to actually do it baffles me as they risk MAJOR prison sentences year after year when they could have sailed into the sunset many moons ago before it went tits up.

Bar the big fighters like Fury, BJS and Frampton most fighters fight and get a purse of say 50k if they’re lucky and the ‘management’ take let’s say 20% so they have 10k of legit money off that fighter.. it just doesn’t seem like the scheme to launder the mega millions they have.

Also there must be a financial incentive for all these fighters to come and join a company with a bad reputation due its links - do they get given big money to come and how is that possible as the company is trying to earn legit money not throw it away? unless fighters Are happy with backpacks of drugs money lol. Then you have the puppets all over the place on social media, even people like Jonny Nelson and the Sky crew talking them up everywhere that can’t be cheap either the out goings must be hilarious! Intriguing stuff none the less!

No matter how much you earn, you increase your spending, your social circle and your need to ensure more money is coming in to fund the lifestyle. If you were to analyze the earnings of the higher levels (not just crime, legitimate business too), there’s a lot of networking and splashing the cash...spending to accumulate (convince others with money to “invest” in projects, promising returns etc....high level wealth is essentially a collection of Ponzi schemes earning money off the people at the bottom who invest and loose).... have a look at how charities get investment, it’s fundraisers and networking with those that have “connections”, check out why ceo’s of charities are paid high sums of money, to fund the networking lifestyle needed to get large investments from people with money. People at the upper end like the “k” family cannot just quit because they have moved up a wrung on the ladder and are networking on a higher level than previously, if they quit, their income and investment just stops, so their “walk away money” would be limited to several million, it would not be possible to stay in their current social circle and what would they do .... start again ? They are invested in the life, they keep going until jail or death... or a combination of both. (Assuming living the quiet life on a random remote island isn’t an option)

Seems the UAE are done with turning a blind eye to criminals who use their country for sanctuary. It was never going to last forever, they have to trade with other countries at the end of the day. The RTE Prime Time segment was interesting, especially the angle about putting pressure on Sky/BT and letting them know they're dealing with a drug cartel here who is promoting these boxing matches. Maybe Sky/BT wont care but there are laws in the UK about companies facilitating money laundering the proceeds of crime. I dont know what DK is thinking here, I mean he is still running a drug cartel at the same time as trying to be a boxing promoter. He can do either one or the other but him doing both simultaneously is not going to work out well for him. The Hutch side could see this as weakness here, an attack on one of his UK based gyms in the lead up to a high profile fight would really throw the cat amongst the pigeons.
