It seems FG will be very happy to just sit on their hands for 5 years. Would FG voters be happy with this, as it means all those FG votes mean nothing, and do nothing.

Having been in power for 9 years, they did nothing, people have no homes, people still on trollies.

FG may have given some of their rich buddies some tax breaks.

But other than that, they did what FG do best, are their poor hands not numb by now.

Yeah as I said before, the nursing homes will go down as a serious black mark. Unfortunate, because there were genuinely some times that I thought the state and government showed some signs of quality.

Even though this was a screw up, the electorate will weigh this up against the majority of the Dail sitting in their comfy seats leaving others to it, plus the nonsensical economic policies proposed by others only a few short months ago (pension/cutting the tax base) so FG could still come out ahead.

It’s the usual from Sinn Fein “oh we would have done better”

Problem is they could have been running the show but ran because they know they can’t, think it was bad with Fg, imagine the sh*t show with the like of Violet Anne and co running the show.

The Nursing Homes etc did as has been pointed out but you knew this and Simon was out on a photoshoot for some of it and dosnt know if he read the letter.
