I get mine in TM Lewin and they are great quality. They are just off Grafton Street if you are based in Dublin but you'll have to wait to get fitted until they open again.

I always buy them online as they tend to have deals - 5 for the price of 4 etc.

I found the quality of TM Lewin deteriorated over the years.

Funny that, I actually moved to TM as a previous shirt I used to wear started to deteriorate in quality.

M&S are good but I just loved the fit of the TM shirts.

TM Lewin are awful quality. Depending on budget - M&S is generally fine.

I like those but these days generally go for Charles Tyritt . TML and CT have regular specials/sales so never pay full price

I use Charles Tyrwhitt and love it. It can take a couple of goes to find the right fit and size, but they do free returns up to 6 months, even if worn. Ive bought maybe 25 shirts from them in the lasrlt 2 years, and no complaints

Guys and gals... I'm looking to get my hands on some formal shirts. Online of course given current restrictions.

But I'm looking for brightly unicoloured ones.
Lime green, canary yellow, fire engine red, turquoise that kind of stuff.

Used to get some when I travelled, and need to refresh the wardrobe.

Anyone point me in the right direction?

If your question is related to the brand, then I would recommend trying Carhartt, Arket or Everlane. I love their quality of the fabric, stitching and other features. In this regard, you can visit their official stores and can see a variety of tees there. On the other hand, there are few wholesaler companies like this https://www.buckwholesale.com/t-shirts/ one which also offers good quality plain t-shirts, especially if you want to redesign them. Yes, these tees are blank usually.

Similarly, I love t-shirts of H&M. If you are having a limited budget, then you can pick tees from their regular fit t-shirts with round shape neck design. Kin and Asket are also good options that you can consider.

I actually find them very bad, they are very narrow on the shoulders and the button holes are too big so the buttons open after you have had a few pints which is a pity because style wise they are very nice

I see some horrendous colours on Charles Tyrwhitt - bright yellow, a green somewhere between lime and avocado, bright pink etc... look in the sale section, more there too.

Okay, then you should mention you are looking for formal shirts. There are many stores which are selling these ones. TM Lewin and Charles Tyrwhitt would be the bog standard for work shirts. Not amazing quality but are pretty cheap and cheerful and usually last a few years, the selection is good also. I've bought dozens of shirts from them through the years at this stage.

H&C are pretty decent, as are Tyrwhitt, but... and hope you don't mind me saying, wearing a lime coloured or similar shirt will be in no capacity "formal".

Yep, I've often found them to be better quality than men's shirts from M&S, which have deteriorated in quality over the last few years. I believe they are manufactured in the same factories as M&S.
