I wanted the Skoda as I thought it looked nicer and husband wanted the Peugeot. In the end we went for Peugeot. I didn’t like the older Peugeot 5008s at all. But a new model came out in 2018 and they look a lot better than the previous model. Realistically speaking the Peugeot was a lot bigger inside. The second row had 3 full seats so we could put 3 full car seats on the second row and still have an entire big boot for buggy and scooters etc etc. With the kodiaq if you have 3 proper car seats one will need to go in the boot (3rd row). And when you put down the third row of seats there is literally no boot space at all. I’m glad we ended up getting the Peugeot now considering we’ve number 4 on the way. When the lockdown finished you should defo go and try them Out.

But mr practical said I was being way over the top! So we settled on the Peugeot. Now don’t get me wrong the Peugeot is great! However.... himself is now saying he wants the Volvo... and that’s our next car! Lol.... surprise surprise!!!

Has the first trimester sickness started to lift for you? Unfortunately I’m still not great still randomly getting sick. Two morning this week and Wednesday night! But it does lift after a while and then I’m ok. Just so busy with work and the kids that I don’t know if I’ll ever get that nice second trimester feeling!!!!! In the evenings I have a proper hard little bump, it’s cool. By morning it’s gone though. What are ye doing about clothes? I’d say I have two weeks tops in my usual jeans! Have been looking at maternity clothes online and anything I like is sold out. I really miss the shops for things like this. Also can’t wait for some normality, for the same reasons you outlined elly. I know where you’re coming from though dubgal, if you’re not used to being out in it at the moment it’s pretty daunting. I didn’t leave the house for nearly four weeks and the few times I did I felt a bit vulnerable. I worry about my parents too. They don't need to cocoon but I’ve had to chat to my mum about how much she’s out and about because I worry about her! She’s doing shopping for some of her older friends and walking all the time but I suppose it keeps her sane and she’s very mindful of how to protect herself. Have my anatomy scan on July second and next consultant app two weeks after. Need to make a gp appointment for two weeks time too. Just roll on November!!! Best of luck with you app next week dubgal, great that you’ll hear the heartbeat. There’s nothing like it
