Muahahaha wrote: » Yeah thought I saw them marked as 3.50, it just surprised me to see something in a supermarket dearer that you'd get it elsewhere. Not the exact same product I know but in the same category. Aldi have generally been creeping up their prices on items like this, I just noticed last week that their seafood chowder is 3.29 whereas in Tesco a near equivalent product is 2.79. Kinda surprised me as I was always of the thinking that Aldi beats Tesco for value across the board on similar products but thats no longer necessarily the case. Their meat super six has gone down hill too, its rare I get anything from it now compared to a year or so ago.
Muahahaha wrote: » Think I saw them on the shelves a few months ago, am I right to say that they are 3.50? I remember thinking that you'd actually save money by going to the chipper!

The aisles in Aldi just aren't wide enough to be able to physically distance yourself from the other shoppers, and they weren't checking how many people were in the shop. I won't be going back to Aldi while all this is still going on.
