Actually I done that to my sealed bin, It works, Just dont hit the bag down too quick.

Alternatively, you can put an air hole in the bin or a air supply down to the bottom.

Milk drum caps are so flimsy that you can press them back onto the drum. Add a slight twist motion while pressing with your palm to complete the job.

A small hack, but considering how much milk we consume here, this technique add years onto your life!
