Perfume yea or nay?
[Deleted User]
Aimed at the men here do you like perfume particularly, sexy and alluring verses its overpowering and going to make you sneeze?
I am not mad on aftershaves unless they are light and fresh, think a lot are overpowering.

It's ten to one in the morning and this needs to be said: subtlety goes a long way. A hint of niceness up close, that then increases to an overpowering pungency as you nuzzle at the crease of the knee like a special forces grade truffle pig. Snorking is what its called.
Otherwise, nice clean smell with a touch of soapy

nay.
semi regular wash sufficient
used to get drunk on my (now ex) girlfriends armpits, lol we boycotted products as a biological experiment, extolling the values of natural hormones pheromones etc, we ran it for about 2 months, now things did get fairly ripe but damn was it hot n wild.
we never got around to writing it up, just smoked more joints and rode like bunnys. ah i miss her sometimes or miss the time.
so perfumes and deodorants may smell "nice" to the nose/brain/preformed expectation but they dont trigger the body the way food cooking does, whereas if she's relatively clean and healthy u can smell it naturally and its a massive YAY

I'm as weird about the smells that I like as I am about everything else. My car is usually smelling like cotton candy, popcorn or vanilla. I like sweet smells. Genuinely can't stand that New Car scent, it's horrible and I have yet to smell a new car that smells like that.
Anyway, perfume. Follows on from my sweets smells, and I used to be able to freak out a few of the wimmens. My favourite is Fantasy by Britney Spears, it literally smells like cotton candy. Yum. I'd smell it a mile away and they'd be freaked when I asked/said they were wearing Fantasy.
As for myself, I wear whatever was on offer when I was buying! Ah no, usually I'll have a bottle of Paco Rabanne 1 Million for the rare nights out, and have a bottle of Brut as a backup. For daily use, the most recent one I've been using is Diamonds for Men by Armani. I mainly wear a small bit for my own benefit, cuz I'm single long enough to not care what random women who wouldn't give me the time of the day think!
Of course, just to confuse matters, I'm currently using Vikings Storm beard oil and balm. It's quite subtle tough, with a description of "Scent Profile: A tranquil, spirited, and provocative scent that is both sensual and harmonious with earthy and warm Sandalwood undertones." I got it for the Sandalwood, which to me, is the smell of man.
