It works best via a bookie, thus low uptake in shops.

6000 in shop, or 8500 elsewhere (4/6)
125k in shop, or 150k elsewhere (5/6)

Of course if you win anything give 10% to 'good causes' directly, or be struck down ye, with lightning.

See I read that but understand nothing. So it’s like the normal lotto, but you can do just one number?

I had to look it up too, but what's not to understand?

Pick either 5, 4, 3, 2 or 1 numbers and get paid if they are drawn out.

You'd get better odds from a bookies though.

It's really straightforward.

You can pick anything from 1 number up to 5 numbers

If for instance you pick 1 number (Say number 5) and it comes out, you win. Obviously the more numbers you choose the better or higher the amount you'll win.

Make sense now?

Yes you can opt to pick 1 number out of 6 drawn or 7 drawn.
I don't know how many numbers in the pot but if it's 49, you have a 1 in 7 chance of winning on the 7 number game if picking 1 number. The prize is less than 7 times your stake so profit for lottery company.

I would have thought is 1 in 49, then 1 in 48, then 1 in 47, 1 in 46, 1 in 45, 1 in 44 and finally 1 in 5 for the bonus. If there's 5 possible bonus numbers.

Don't confuse them

Worth avoiding the top 5ball prize option at all costs, you only have (at best) 58% of getting near the real-odds.
Less than 50% using a shop ticket.

Pick 3 is pretty good, or pick 2 (but from 7) @90% or so, but is small monies.
When applying LOLN it might push the 86.3% (p)+ factor higher still, for that 3baller (from6).

*subject to slight variance upon bookie vendors, this also uses rounded-up averages.

It's perfectly simple, say you pick 3 out of 7 numbers in 54321 and play €1 and they are drawn you win €275. Bet5€ instead of 1€ and win 1375euro
