I think that was inevitable as there was a CME futures gap around $9,900 which got filled nicely

It now frees up to go push on this week

These gaps are really good to make a quick trade for a couple 100eur every week
They nearly always get filled

Its always a good idea to move out your stop loss after a weekend if you are in a trade cos these wicks can burn you as I found out once to my detriment

But isn't there still a gap around 7600-7700 from 6th Jan?

Unless all gaps get filled before the post halving pump, the idea that all or most gaps get filled goes out the window, thankfully.

Speaking of CME / Bakkt, futures prices don't seem to factor in the halving at all!

ya there are a couple more lower down but theres a fair bit of support above them so may not get filled
generally the ones that are closer and have no resistance or support typically get filled

I think there is one at $11.8k from a good while back that never got filled either
