The person taking the video was the most sensible-they kept a safe distance from the lion and if it did freak out and attack the people in the jeep, they would be able to get away while the lion was feeding on their friends!

I don't care if a lion was hand reared from a cub. They are still a cat and if it turned it would maul you in a second. And then it would have to be put down. Having said all that, it would be cool to be given cuddles by a lion but there is no way in hell I would risk it.
