Connacht v Munster Build Up Thread

Connacht vs the third South African team in the Pro14.

Connacht ravaged by injuries. Probably on the beer since beating Gloucester. I overheard Bundee Aki in the Pucan saying"Fvck it, it's Christmas" the other night as he ordered his seventh straight Jagerbomb. Lightweight puked it straight up all over Kieran Marmion, but he didn't notice, what with being asleep on the bar, but fair play to Bundee, apologised to the barman and just ordered another. Legend!

Munster stung by the loss to Sarries, and fighting for bragging rights - top place in the conference at Christmas, not being the 4th Irish province, and the best tan on the pitch if Murray starts with TOH still out. Not to mention loser buys the Jagerbombs in the Pucan afterwards.

Head says Connacht, heart says Connacht. So we're definitely not gonna win... ah fvck it, it's Christmas, Connacht by 6!

I think Munster can put out a fairly strong side. Also. They not as fcuked as Connacht with injuries!
Connacht did good business with Tom Daly! Very impressive so far. I think it's going to be a tight affair. Munster missing POM's very mean face! No Stander either, I presume! Connacht getting the back rows back could be huge! Pucan's will be a vomit paradise this weekend!

Yeah it's probably best TOH gets a bit of rest, he must be tossing and turning a lot after being left out of another international squad. Who knows, Farrell might call him up to hold a few water bottles.

Would like to see porch at FB and O'halloran and Fitzgerald on the wings. Unlikely to see Bundee and with Farrell injured has to Robb and Godwin in the middle with Daly on the bench. Now that would be interesting. If TOH goes straight in at FB then it's a defensive cop out. These days he's remarkably like the Rob Kearney he should never try and be like

Wasn't aware TOH was unavailable. Listening to Galway Bay on the way home they said both Quinn and TOH were available. Maybe best TOH not available. He seems to be more a negative than a positive for Connacht these days

Don't be silly. Not just a good player but the best tan in the squad, worth at least a couple of hundred extra female fans at games when he's playing, and therefore more eye candy in the stands for the rest of us during injury breaks, scrum resets and endless Munster box kicking... Is an incredible achievement for the lad. How does one get a tan in Clifden. Not an easy thing to achieve

That's an exciting team. Young players starting alongside the established players.

Two good lineups, this should be a belter.

Strong team, only concern is Godwin on the wing out of position. Backrow possibly lacking balance with Butler out and no real openside. Forward battle should be great to watch, think Connacht will still edge this one. Great motivation for Roux and Dillane to show their international credentials.

The spread has come in from -6 to -3 but bookies still favour Conancht. Dry day, little wind, hopefully be a good game.
