I asked that question earlier and I'd be inclined to go your way. Finding the funniest (or most cringe) song that charted rather than the least funniest funny song.

Match 3: Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini - great fun to sing along to.

Match 4: The Ballad of Chasey Lain - both classics in their own right, but a hit song about a pornstar is worthier of a spot. Now show us them t*tties!

Match 5: A Hard Day's Night - I think a spoken word cover is something a bit different, so why not.

Match 6: Moonlight Shadow - I love this song, never thought of it as funny, but can see why someone might find it cringey, but I'm voting for the songs I like better, so this is the one I want to see in the competition proper.

Match 7: I Useta Lover - Was one of my favourite songs when it first came out and even better craic when it was re-released. Choon!

#2 Disco Duck. I've never heard it before but it's magnificently terrible!

#3 Itsy Bitsie.... Since I Left You is a good tune but it doesn't really scream "chuckle" to me (and it's definitely not cringe)

#4 Ballad of Chasey Lain. Awful song but less irritating than Daphne & Celeste.

#5 Surfin' Bird, fits the brief pretty well. Like the concept behind the Peter Sellers one but think it could have worked better with a "sillier" song.

#6 Eat It. Don't mind Weird Al in small doses, though he has better ones than this I think. Moonlight Shadow does nothing for me either way.
