No I just shut off wifi on my existing router. Pulled out all my TP-Link adapters. Plug the mesh direct into router

Then set up with same wifi name and password....boom everything was up and running......didnt have to touch anything.....

And I'm assuming the homeplug(s) I've cabled to the router are unaffected 'cause it's only the wifi being turned off?

FYI I spent weeks researching, have a thread open on forum in here. The linksys seems to be recommended by a lot of people and to be honest it is perfect since I installed. Really gave a boost around the house.

The best is tri-band but crazy money. The Netgear stuff is expensive and Linksys triband as well.

Unless you have loads of heavy gamers I dont expect you would need tri-band. But if you have the money floating around then get it

So I have a router with 4 ports I think, they are all connected to devices. Then I now have the linksys mesh as the wifi around the house.

I used to have the TP-Link adapter which are wifi hot spots as well but they drove me mad as you would drop calls when walking around as it moved from one network to another....

With the mesh now I dont have any drops.....also the connection speeds to Firesticks etc have improved hugely, way better coverage

As ablelocks, who you quoted, said - not all warehouse items are included.

Got them before and returned them. Just weren't right to my eyes.

For example, I want to buy a copy of Assassins Creed and it is advertised as £15.99. When i select it and go to checkout it is now £16.38. Postage not included, it hasn't been converted to Euro, just 39c added on for no reason it seems.

Not worried about the 39c but its happened to me before so just curious as to why or if anyone else has had similar issues.

It's adjusting for Irish VAT, UK is 20% we're 23%

Probably down to VAT. The UK and Ireland have different VAT rates.

Irish Vat rate is 23%. UK is 20%.

That's Amazon adjusting for Irish VAT (which is a higher rate than UK)

UK VAT is 20% Irish VAT is 23% which was increased as per agreement with the IMF during the bailout.

If it is a higher priced item it sometimes works out cheaper to get it posted to your PM address and pay the delivery of €3.50 or whatever it is from that location than to pay the extra 3% to have the item posted directly to your home address.

This phone seems like a great deal. Will it work with an Irish sim? It's unlocked so can't see why it wouldn't? But the "UK" version is off-putting.
