Car swaying side to side

Hi all
I have a problem with my insignia
When I hit 100kph or so on the motorway it swayed side to side, not much but enough that I don't feel safe in it
I don't think its tracking as the steering isn't pulling to one side or vibrating
It's hard to know what it could be as the steering wheel isn't swaying but the car is

Suspension problem of some sort. Could even be tyre pressure.

Is it happening on every drive in different locations?

Was it windy out? Cross winds.

Otherwise as above, tyre pressure or failing suspension part or even a shock maybe.

Definitely get it looked at if it's not the wind.

Ya its happening every drive mostly when I get to the motorway and get up and over 100

Wheel balancing could cause this also. The weights used to balance the wheels can fall off and cause this effect.

Does the vibration / swaying stop if you go above 100 on the motorway?

You'd be surprised by the difference in tyre pressure makes.

Double check they're all correct

The only thing I can think of that could cause the actual vehicle to sway from side to side and not a vibration or judder or anything else would be bad shocks. A simple test would be to push down on the bonnet or the boot and see does it settle quickly or act like it's just going up and down on springs.

Sounds very like a worn steering universal joint to me
When doing those speeds, and you barely move the steering left or right, is there a very vague feel to the steering, where the direction does not move right away?

Silly question, but, are all the 4 tyres the same make and size? How old are they?

My bet is warn shocks, you can do the bounce test or if you have a second car drive behind the Insignia on bumpy road, if a shock is knackered you will see the wheel bouncing rapidly on the spring (no damping).

Most likely wear in the tyres, suspension, or steering.

Get it thoroughly checked out.

If its a vagueness in the steering it would feel like swaying. This is probably steering tie rod ends, wouldnt be expensive to fix. If not possibly balljoint/bushings.
