God they used be on every street corner not so long ago- they’ve really disappeared-I guess rust, NCT, and various scrappage schemes finished them off

There was/is a racing series in Ireland for the 1.2 Zetec models. A lot would have been bought up to have as spares cars.

The estates in impreza's are the least desirable too. They are usually cheaper than the saloon versions.

I know old+Ford=money and I know it's a significant car but come on, please.

I didnt know replacement doors, a new exhaust and a set of mini lites was a "restoration" now.

Currently needs "remedial work" needing doing which is old Ford lingo for rust.

€22k in it's current condition? I see some clean examples in the UK asking close to €30k but sit in and drive stuff.

Controversial one I think but curious to know what others think.

That English locked diff rear can be valueable (as they can be modified with different gear sets and are much stronger than the German counterpart) as well as the compomotives. Rear spoiler if original is also hard to find. And the brake calipers with fittings would probably be ok too.

But hard to imagine that there is 4.5k worth of stuff there...
