Gemma O'Doherty Followers Spreading Lies

In Beaumont there has been some of Gemma O'Doherty fans pasting notices on lamp posts. Basically saying Irish people will become extinct due to immigration. They have links to BS about the whole thing. I have been going around taking them down but the pop back up a week or 2 later. They are doing it at night as I see them when I walk the dogs in the morning.

Is anybody else seeing these around? Curious if it is a lone nutter or coordinated thing happening everywhere.

She's way out on the fringes and the more she tries to get larger following the less attractive she becomes.
1 elections and the couple of protests and rallies are pretty good measure of her popularity. It's close to zilch bar a handful of devout nutters.

I think I can safely say that there are more than enough brown themed people in their respective collective regions that would miss us, more than we’d seemingly miss ourselves and that’s before the self loathing even comes into play. Because it is pretty horrible for anybody who they are targeting to see. I really don't get how people don't understand this is the same as somebody putting swastikas about.

This is friends, family, work colleagues, people serving you etc... they are insulting.

It is also graffiti which regardless of the content is still illegal. I hope to catch the person and have them charged along with being named and shamed. The fact they do it at night is to hide what they are doing

Cheers, aye I'll keep an eye out myself for them too. I remember seeing a sticker from some head case plastered all over celtic Park last year. Can't remember the fellas name but he seems to be a fairly well known conspiracy theory/Catholic fundamentalist around Dublin.

I never said anyone should be free to do whatever they want, but people should be free to say whatever they want when it comes to ideology. And there is no price not worth paying for that. Without freedom of ideological expression, democracy cannot exist. If there are any form of rules disallowing certain ideologies from taking part in the political process, then democracy is by definition incomplete.

Democratic decisions and ideologies routinely harm people. The current government is harming people on a daily basis through a wide variety of either disastrously incompetent or deliberately malicious policy decisions - but the people voted for this government, and those participating in the aforementioned government were allowed to go to the people and ask for their support, including distributing posters and campaign material in order to raise awareness of their campaigns.

I don't like this government or what they're doing, but that's democracy. Tough sh!t for me until the next election - as it should be.
