Those places have been mostly empty for years, I used to commute to Dublin and could see them from the train window, slowly getting worse and worse.
A wrecking ball would be the best answer.

In 2007 people were still camping out to buy off plans. I bought a place and the selling agent spent the whole time standing in the corner looking at his phone, the builders disappeared into the ether within a week or two of people moving in.

You can read about the developer here. I feel sorry for anyone who bought in that development. Anywhere called 'riverside' should set alarm bells ringing, especially when that river is the Barrow!

AFAIK, the cops ripped the place apart looking for evidence so it's probably had a basic refurb. The bathroom suite, though. Was that supposed to be ironic? Anyone who chooses that colour and after 1978 has got to raise red flags. It's the interior design equivalent of using green ink.

will never forget how chilling it was reading his posts on boards, and seeing his facebook page, right up until he was arrested, the picture of normality, including photos of 'pints with the lads' and the rest. All that time knowing what he'd done, but living that day to day mudane life like everyone else. Thinking about how his wife and kids were oblivious, and how he led that normal family life for so long after doing the deed too.

I had a mate living in a place like this in Holland, there was a small 2 foot wall around the jax, himself and the gf were in bed one day and had a mate staying over that was visiting.
