Any recommendations for an app to allow long articles, chapters and books to be scanned?
OCR would be a huge bonus.

More than 20 pages so Office Lens is out.
Currently using Scanbot and it is quite good, and it does allow further scans to be appended to existing files which is very convenient.

Ideally something that will scan and allow addition of other scans as info grows.
Files to be used on a tablet for study, review and annotations during study and revision.

Got one from Google last night about some app called Gallery Vault. Don't think I ever used it but it was installed. I removed it.

Two nice little games have kept me occupied over the last few weeks.

Holedown is premium game (€4.49) where you use your balls (:p) to break through rocks to get to a core. Destroy the core and move onto the next level. Probably 3 or 4 hours playtime in this, and an "endless" mode unlocks when you finish the game, so you can keep going to beat your own record. The trailer doesn't mention that there is a brilliant little upgrade system where you can earn currency in the game to buy upgrades (more starting balls, more space to hold gems and stuff like that) so you always feel like you're making progress, even after a bad run. Loved it, finished it, and I'll play through it again in a few months.

Zentris is like a 3D tetris where you rotate the play area (rather than rotate the shapes). Keep making lines until you run out of space. There are two powerups that you can use on each run (one clears any tile and one is bomb that clears multiple tiles). Free to play, but any purchase will remove ads. Very satisfying when you have a good run. Great for a quick 5 minute game.
