+1. Worth mentioning that Proper Order coffee in Smithfield stock Square Mile and get fairly regular deliveries so typically can pick up bags within a week or so of roast date. I stock up with a couple of bags whenever I'm passing.

If price isn't an issue, who is everyone's preferred roaster to order from?

I've enjoyed all the Bailies and 3FE I've gotten, and am very fond of Soma, Three Fools and West Cork in Cork, and have a few nice looking Cloudpicker bags to gets through but if I was going to buy one or two bags from a roaster (Irish or international - open to suggestions!), who would ye recommend?

It might be a once off so spending a little extra per bag might be an option too if needed!

I think Badger & Dodo do excellent beans at a good price for the quality. I love the Guatemalan and the Ethiopian is also very good.

I've never ordered from them online. Give it a go, the offer won't last for long. My 1kg is usually €28, the last one was €16

Great deal. Ordered some Colombia Narino, Yirgacheffe and Nina. I thought this might be the same brand as 'The Art of Coffee' shops around Dublin, but they don't seem to be related. Funny that neither party has found issue with the branding, but looking forward to trying the coffee. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah as I've said my usual bean from them is Fusion but last week I called in a picked up some Nina that was on offer at 16 for 1kg. I've never tried it. It was on the shelf and roasted 4 weeks . I think she said they roasted in advance for the ploughing championships and some other promotions, it'll be back to roast to order once they sell.

Ordered Yirgacheffe and Fusion ,both decent beans, roasted to darker profile ( too dark for my liking ),probably great for milky drinks.
I had some feelings there are some robusta beans in Fusion blend , could be wrong though.

Had it once. It was delicious. Prices look very good. Free delivery for 500g upwards.

Their European blend is my go to when I can't find a good price on something else. Very consistent.

It could be just coincidence, but we had an automatic Delonghi machine in an office I worked in - on 2 separate occasions, the grinder got clogged twice by oily dark roast beans.

I think free postage is for amounts ordered above 500g (so 1kg and up). It's a very poor way of wording it in fairness.

I've tried it there again and it works fine. You need to order a minimum of 1kg beans to get free shipping, rather than 500g beans and another product.

I have been with them for a few months now and am subscribed to what they call Plus 87. Its a package with some proper stellar coffees in, and from those I've received I cannot complain. In terms of a deal, I compared around before I subscribed with them and saw that match up with everyone, if not a bit cheaper. Really no complaints on the price of coffee at all from me, so maybe worth checking them out for both quality and price?

Has anyone else had experience with them? let me know as I would be keen to hear. Cheers

Looking at the 3 bags per month option plus Parcel Motel it looks to be roughly €11.31 per bag. My latest order came to €7.65 a bag inc postage. I am rather eagerly awaiting it's arrival.

I subscribe to Gustatory's 3 bag package each time. Yeah, you're right on the postage as they're English based, but I subscribed to their plus 87 as it delivers their best coffees at a discounted rate than RRP anyhow, so you save in that aspect. With their international postage and the discounts, I reckon that it probably evens each other out, but I gain on receiving the awesome coffees each month, so im happy!

You reckon the blended one looks good? Will check it out
