In my opinion that would be the death knell for RTEs soccer coverage.

I have nothing personal against Mr Kerr, but to give him mic time especially in a co-com position,in my opinion, would be disasterous.

I often wonder what this ‘quirky information’ is and how it enhances commentary.

Houghton and Whelan are no great shakes either, having a less than smooth familiarisation with the English language.

At least one could switch off panel discussions but as a co commentator the game would be unwatchable and unlistenable to.

Will not be a runner, I feel.
