Most are great albums, but difficult to pick an album where every song is a classic - not just an average tune. An album where once a song ends you just can wait until the next song. For me Back in Black - AC/DC is probably the only rock album that I love every song. And maybe Ten from Pearl Jam, but I am a biased Pearl Jam fan. Seventh son was mentioned a few times, but I just don’t get Moonchild. I think Through the Never on Metallicas black album is weak. Appatite for Destruction is a good nomination. There are no weak songs, but maybe not all classic status. Or maybe they are? Faith No More albums are good, but I think there’s a fair amount of filler in there. I think Invaders on Number of the Beast is average. If live albums counted, I’d have Live after Death. Love that from start to finish. Might not fall into the Rock/Metal genre, but for me Heartworm by Whipping Boy does it for me. I love playing the album from start to finish. I don’t know if could elevate every song to classic. But I guess it’s personal preferences. I was having a listen to Oasis Definitely Maybe at the weekend. I’d throw it into the general mix of albums where every song is really good. Maybe not classic??
