144hz 1440p monitor

Hi all,
Posted something somewhat similar to this previously but couldn't get my bang for the buck. I've been looking for a 1440p monitor that operates at 144hz. I've seen a few for 250-300 that I think look alright but I'm not sure about how response times will affect the image produced (input lag, screen tearing, etc). Amy advice on these monitors below would be appreciated and if you've any other suggestions, please tell me

I recently got an Asus MG278Q 1440p monitor. It's a FreeSync monitor, but it's on Nvidia's G-Sync Compatible list.

My reasoning was that it would allow me to use both an AMD or Nvidia graphics card and still avail of tearing free display.

Looks like a nice monitor but I'm not big into that price tag:( it's about £370 on Amazon. Freesync would be a good feature for me though as I have an AMD graphics card

Yeah, you could just skip the G-Sync or FreeSync and just get a really high refresh monitor.

I don't know. I think free sync would be good to have with a 144hz monitor

I've this and it's excellent, ips, 1440, 144hz and freesync (I've Gsync enabled with an RTX card)

Think it's an underrated one and not _too_ expensive.

Only downside there is TN panel, but that's down to OPs preference I guess!

Also bought 2 of these on Prime Day and it's amazing. I work with Photoshop / Lightroom a lot as a designer, but I also love gaming so I wanted an IPS, nice big screen and a high refresh rate. Really excellent monitors so far. Haven't had a single issue. And it's about £10 cheaper each than when I bought them.

Unfortunately cant see it on sale this side of the pond yet,its listed on AOC's EU website but cant see links to buy on there either.

Theres a 1080p version of it out here but not the 1440p version.

Ill be keepin an eye out for a release here.

Have that one on my wishlist along with the new 27" IPS display they have.
Just thinking that 32" might be just a little big for my space. Probably won't be ordering until around Black Friday though.

Dunno if I recommend curved at 27" 16:9. More distracting than beneficial.

Hopefully this thread isn't completely dead as I've an update. So I waited for this new monitor AOC launched that Eoinheff but it's only amazon.com and it has some bad reviews about ghosting. @grahamer72 You said you had the AOC monitor I linked in my first post. Could you tell me if there's any ghosting with it as I've seen people talking about that on reviews (I know I'm no professional gamer but would like to know). If anyone has other recommendations for a 144hz 1440p monitor for about 300 quid, please tell me. Cheers
