The beef protesters aren't attacking lads doing their jobs, trapping people in cars or refusing to pay for something that costs a fortune to be provided to them.

Unfortunately, you can be a bit more heavy handed with students because at the end of the day a lot of them won't vote.

Of course. People look down on working class people and young people, farmers not so much. They have more of a right to an opinion. You can see it in some of the above comments already. And off they will go...
One group want stuff for nothing, the farmers want a price for the stuff they produce which covers the cost of production.

The Occupy protesters were camped out on Dame Street for months and nobody came to beat them off the streets.
