Easily twice the price it should be, however...it's an 08/2007 built car that was first registered on 16/12/2008, meaning it's an 07 plate on emissions tax! Does that make it an ex-demo/press car that was given a reg on delivery in 2007 but not first taxed until end of 2008?

I had it transported to Ireland via transport truck as was easier than flying there and driving it back

That was for sale about 2 years ago for 6 or 7 grand and was only on done deal for a few days.

Owner must have just took the ad down and put the car in storage.

The engine would be worth a nice bit if all is verifiable there but at 10k its a fully fledged dreamer.

It being an automatic with all that engine work is mystifying though surely theres a story as to why it is?

Plenty ways to get insurance, a classic policy would be a nice cheap one, you'd nct it same way you nct any car, again tax is no change as its the same size engine as original (cc band as its pre 08).

Not low for a Japanese car really, lots never even see 60k miles over there.
