Avoncore ltd is the company behind the Douglas shopping centre and that company is intertwined with majority shareholder Canmont Ltd and the majority shareholder of Canmont Ltd is Shipton Ltd. All these companies share the same address at 48 Upper Drumcondra rd, Dublin 9.
I walked past this address last week and there was an Opel Zafira parked up the the road.

I'm told that there was one Zafira and all the Dacia Sandero Accesses in the country in there. All destroyed thankfully

Actually Kearys sell Dacia too so they're fairly prudent so they'll import Sandero Accesses, the one with no radio or electric windows/mirrors

I can't see how a business can survive an extended down time. What happens the workers, supplier contracts etc? On top of the lost business and cost if repairs.

Hopefully I'm wrong. At least most outlets are large chains from what I can see, so maybe the funding to carry the business over the down time might be available?

I know it all looks very bad, but one thing I'm happy about is that no-one was hurt, no-one was killed. I haven't seen corroboration of the dogs story.

But I think the building did just fine. There was a major fire, about 60 cars went up yet the steel did not fail. Yes, it was mis-shapen and warped. Not one bit of collapse, either of steel or of the tar of the floor above. It survived a potentially 1000ºc fire with no deaths or injuries. I consider that a success. Demolishing and rebuilding, yes that has to happen but at the end of the day everyone got out ok.

The people who I would like to slaughter are the rubberneckers on the N40 this morning that made my commute 15 minutes longer.
