I know what kosher means and I've heard it used as slang for genuine /real. Never have I heard it used this way before.

And no, I wouldn't be 'kosher' with this. If he can't keep it zipped when he's away, he needn't bother coming home. But, different strokes for different folks, I suppose.

Fair enough, Daltrey was being open to his wife about it, I'd imagine she's the exception to the rule though. It seems to be pretty common practice in France.
