Near miss between a car and a cyclist yesterday. It can't be seen in the video but the cyclist was on the path and suddenly went onto the road, if the car driver wasn't paying attention there would have been a collision.

You mean the one I cut across to avoid two unlit cyclists whom I was unsure if they would stop in time?
I'd sooner give them an extra meter or two than have them into the side of the car, perhaps you might have reacted differently and kept further left and endangered them even more, but I'll stand by my actions that night.

^ No surprise there that it was a Matthews coach. They don't like to obey the speed limit for buses on the motorway either unless I'm wrong about that being 100kmph for coaches? Regularly see them in excess of that.

Just looking into getting a little dash cam for my car. Just wondering does the majority of people that post on this thread have dash cams hard wired into their cars and if so is it difficult to do or would I have to get an auto electrical mechanic to do it?

Any advice is much appreciated.
