21 yr old Harry Ward, full time brickie, part time darts player wins PC 16, beating Max Hopp in the final 8-7

No fluke either, been playing well and has made a few QF's this year

Just shows how deep the pool of talent is, looks like a lad that could have a decent future

Fines are harsh enough in darts. Different sports but in football you see a stadium full of people shouting racist abuse at players and the country's football federation gets fined 10k! In darts a couple of players exhange a few words and it's often more. Gerwyn Price's 21.5k fine is crazy.

Maybe they should bring a warning system, 3 warnings and you get a month ban or tournament ban. The fine system is too inconsistent, and very unfair on players lower down who don't earn much if anything

Ian White is in incredible form at the moment, that's two Euro Tour victories in a row and 3 in the last 12 months. He has always been accused of not doing it on the stage but the Euro Tour's are all played on stage so surely he's gotten over that now and could be a dark horse for the Matchplay.

It’s a strange one, there’s something slightly unconvincing about him in the bigger tournaments, if he could win one he could be a force to be reckoned with but I don’t see it happening soon.
