Who else finds forests a little creepy?

Especially at night, the other night was walking through a nearby forest when something moved in the trees it nearly scared the bejaysus outta me!

Daytime; not creepy.

At 3am after a few drinks when said forest is totally silent (because a local cat had hunted anything that made a sound), and the path is fairly dark; creepy.

But seriously, manageable sized woods are fine...by day. By night they can be pretty eerie. But big huge forests?...nope. Way too creepy.

Just remember not to holiday in the new Center Parcs in Longford - it is located right in the middle of a forest!:eek:

Forests are the extreme, but I usually have to hand-hold my city-slicker visitors during the first days of their stays in my house. They just can't cope with all the unexplained noises and movement and weird lights in the sky!
