(Cruze is more like a Skoda Rapid, not Superb)

But otherwise what's not to like? Young, easy to insure, reasonably low on tax. AFAIR they used the VM Motori diesels - not very frugal, but rather problem free.

Yup - the fact it's an N16 Almera is the catch.

It's only the coupes that'll sell near a price like that, because they look sporty. I'd suspect he's going to have that up for some time at that price. But I've noticed older cars outside of Dublin, once they "appear" to be in good shape, typically advertise at a higher price, than they would in Dublin. Might find someone to get it at that price in Cork. But if someone is stuck, there are much better cars out there.
