Gardai at a recent safety forum told us to report all incidents of anti social behaviour, one of our neighbours called the station when a gang of about 15 kids decided their garden was a fine place to congregate, and was told first that there were no cars available then to "just go out and tell them to leave, they should move on" :rolleyes:

Hiring hitmen from outside doesn't make any sense. Any mob worth it's salt will have it's own killers or they will browbeat some stooge who owes them money into doing it.
If the stooge gets caught he will keep his mouth shut or he will be killed,if he's successful they will use him again and again til he is caught or more likely eliminated by the people he did the killings for.
If the Byrne's used this foreigner to try and hit mago it implies they were running out of shooters.

as it says in the article, you pay peanuts you get monkeys, a lot of guys seem to escape these hits with their lives, either by bad aim or the guys who they send dont have the stomach for it when the times comes, the IRA were the same, the bulk of their car bombs and mortars never made it to their destinations, drivers would bottle it and abandoned them.

Mago was shot 5 times and survived. A competent hitman would have made sure they were dead. That is why they brought in the outsider. Strung out junkies do not make good hitmen.
