I viewed this place the other week. It basically has no kitchen, in need of renovation from top to bottom, single glazed windows, the downstairs essentially isn't fit for purpose without an extension. And it's only about 950sqft. All for 525k. I'd say you'd spend another 100k doing it up. It's in a very nice area but the price is insane to me.

Well only a stones throw away and over 100k less you can get this place. With literary no kitchen because according to the EA it's a seven bedroom house? Check out that convenient side exit on the second floor OR possible place to stand to just throw the rest of the money away. Did someone say builders dream?

I think the pram and the exercise bike in photo 12 show exactly how "recently" it was....sure its the same Queen, cant be that long ago!

Jaysus if I won the recent euromillions, I'd buy this place. You're own forest and river frontage. I'd convert that chapel into a bar, pump a few million into bringing the rest all up to scratch.

In a region where most of the population is on benefits I wonder could you take the price of an Irish house over there, buy 10 properties and live off whatever their version of HAP is? The maintenance costs would easily exceed any rent received for those properties, no landlord that wants to make a living would touch them.
