You find it dry? The one criticism I'd have about Bunsen is it can be overly greasy sometimes. I know that's where the flavour is though ha

Paulies Pizza in Beggars Bush is unbelievable.

I was skeptical of all the hype it was getting before I tried it so I went with an open mind.

It really is excellent.

I tried Dough Bros in Galway too which has a proper cult status and rightly so. It is delicious.

Can't beat Base for a takeaway IMO either.

There used to be a good burger joint in Ranelagh when I first moved here about 10 years ago. Can't remember it's name but I was depressed when it closed.

There is loads of places in Dublin to get a nice Burger.

Bunsen would personally be my favourite

Wowburger is good not great.

The Counter is one of the best in my opinion also. Brilliant burgers in there.

Eddie Rockets is also one I always have a soft spot for

Five Guys is home to the most awful ****e. Seriously overpriced for the Burger you get and a fiver for a handful of truly awful chips.

Another soulless American corporation trying to shoehorn out some Irish owned businesses. I hope they don't last.

Yeah I'm with you on this one. Went a while back and it was grand. I've genuinely had nicer burgers from chip vans in years gone by. Couldn't understand what all the fuss was about.

Bunsen is ok-good. It's got a decent burger, not top notch, but decent - but it's customer policy of not accepting reservations means they can go **** themselves. The sketches on Republic of Telly were good, I enjoyed them.

The first series was grand. Not brilliant, not terrible, had a few laughs, and justified them getting a series.

The second series wasn't good though and had no laughs from what I remember. They should have ended it then but it's somehow made it to series 4.

If you look at the television forum on here though you can see no one is talking about it, not even to call it bad. So I can't imagine the viewer numbers are any good at all.

It's a spin off of a republic of telly skit, supposed to be an exaggeration of a typical Irish family in the 80s.

But like republic of telly, and most RTE comedy stuff, it's absolutely sh1te.
