As a 2 man midfield Moran and Barry won’t have enough mobility.
But as mentioned by a previous poster if Keane plays a 3 man field with another more mobile player it could work.

To be fair to the man he has done very little bad that has led to opposition scores. Caught in possession in forward roles more than defensive. Brian O B and Paul Murphy have turned over more scores than any of our defenders from what I’ve seen. I don’t think either are strong enough defensively. Yes they offer pace and great transfer of ball to forwards but not as primary defenders . Would like for Gavin Crowley,Jason Foley and of course Gavin White when Crokes are finished to get a run of games.

Kevin McCarthy will surely come into the panel after yesterday’s performance.
Outside of Gavin White who will come in for Crokes. Murphy,Burns, Tony Brosnan, Shaw?

Harder ground and a dry ball in the summer will suit our forwards more than most. Not really sure about Sherlock while he has a physical presence his ball handling ability is suspect and he was getting caught in possession tonight. As well with the harder ground in summertime I would be worried about his ability to manage a tricky full forward.

Great win. The Dubs felt it and hated it. League or not they found that one hard to take and that was proven by their scummy behaviour at the end. Couldn't lose gracefully, had to kick off. That's a massive win for Kerry, we still have too much to do to stop the Dublin juggernaut this year imo but the future is definitely looking a lot better than it was this time last year. Next year or the year after we wont be too far away

Sean O Shea seems to have added a lot more pace to his play this year. A joy to watch.

Hopefully a shot of other players will get a chance over the coming month and Peter can unearth another gem.

Nice to see Gavin Crowley get some game time again tonight, didn't get to watch match live but will be catching up. Hope we can keep up the good run of form with no fear of relegation now.

Usually, you'd say 10 points would be good enough for the League final, so ourselves and Mayo have some wriggle room, at least - wouldn't rule out the Dubs, but they've to play both Mayo and Tyrone yet.

Good win and football of a very high standard for February.

Obviously nothing to get too excited about but good to see players taking opportunity when they get chance in Kerry jersey.

This is probably a 2/3 year project and its exciting to watch what's coming through.

Dublin still the standard bearers and I don't see them being stopped in the summer but we're seeing changes in approach from the last two years which is positive.

I think Geaney needs more than one game on the bench, been well below par for quite a while now.

So much for all the whinging about dropping older players. You would wonder why Fitzmaurice was not a bit more adventurous over the last few years. Adrian Spillane is starting to get to the pace of intercounty and may be an option for the last twenty minutes in championship. Starting to look like we might have a functional bench during the summer

Great game and great win. Had a look at the Dublin thread and there's a bit of whinging about the referee which is obviously garbage- if anything, we were hard done by by Deegan.

Terrific intensity by Kerry although we faded a bit towards the end. A massive psychological boost for all the young lads to know they have it in them to beat the Dubs. Defence seemed a bit porous at times however, especially in the first half.
