I would describe myself as technical and obsessed by logic and practicality. I would choose rebuilding an engine over a rock concert, and the chipper to a meal out or the cinema. I am somewhere between normal and Mr. Logic from Viz.

I got called to do a job on the roof of a large urban building where a rare bird was nesting, I was troubleshooting a broadcast camera installation for a media company. I was accompanied on the roof by a french lady who worked for the company, she was attractive and intelligent if somewhat overdressed for the job (she was dressed like she was going out for a posh meal).

We were on the roof, I found the fault, but I needed a crimp tool which I had left in my toolbox one floor down, I asked her to wait a while I went for the tools. She opened her stylish handbag and produced a leatherman multipurpose tool and a roll of insulation tape and said in a soft french accent "will these help". I felt an immediate attraction (and a bit of a twitch from Junior).

If you had asked me 4 months ago I would have listed off a list of purely physical attributes.

Then I woke up one morning and realized I had a thing for my best friend that’s a girl.she is obviously really beautiful but I never noticed before. The reason I developed feelings is that she is the most kind generous person I have ever met. She is the best mum to her two kids and is the funniest person I know. Can comfort and reassure me when I need it but also put me in my place when I need that too.
