Agent Smyth wrote: » Yes, that's 16 wins for those three batches this year and is in and around the .5% which is not bad but compared to the previous three years its getting worse and will probably be worse in 2019 2017: 19 wins 11,7 and a 1 2016: 28 wins 12,10 and 6 2015: 29 wins 11 and two 9s For me personally I'm in the process of reviewing my finance's atm and I don't think Prize bonds will be featuring in my investments portfolio beyond 2019

Agent Smyth wrote: » It would seem so, with that amount you should be in and around the .5% mark but unfortunately it is a game of chance and sometimes you win but now its more often that you don't. When I first invested in PBs back in Feb 13 the prize fund was 2.25% of a nearly 1.7 billion fund which was roughly 271 million bonds chasing 9168 weekly prizes, today there is at least 543 million bonds chasing 4519 weekly prizes. Even if the NTMA decided to increase the percentage of the prize fund my guess is they would reinstate the monthly million prizes first which is not going to make a difference to any of us here, unless of course you win the million
