Absolutely. I definitely don’t think there is any agenda behind it on the part of the journalists, they just want the big scoop.

But clearly their sources aren’t as reliable as they would like to think, as demonstrated time and time again over the past few months on the no confidence vote.

I wish they would simply stick to reporting news and not just speculation.

Political Ed of the Sun on Sky News now quoting that a source close to Graham Brady has revealed that there are not quite enough letters in yet and that the ERG are trying to exaggerate how many are in to try and egg people on.

Seemed to suggest that there are some people who did not want to push them over the 48 to create a leadership contest, but if it is going over 48 anyway, they want to be on the list and to be seen to write one for optics reasons.

Payed down the belief that Brady will be going to No 10 in the morning and confidence vote Wednesday night as something that was being used to try and get the reluctant letter writers to write one.

No more than you expect from the ERG if true, they're trying to manipulate people in their own party for their own purposes.

I said I’m pleased he’s been told it’s not a good idea to protest in the fashion he does because it’s clearly offputting to those relaying news or being interviewed. I don’t think that is particularly fair to the viewing public who deserve better.

DUP would almost certainly lose a seat in a GE, and possibly Dodds also which would be hilarious. Danny Kinahan (UUP) may be nipping at their heels also

SDLP could end up with 2 or 3 (or 0) - Pengelly's seat and 2x SF maybe - which would be anti-Brexit and turn up.

Protesters aren't doing their cause much good by placing themselves and their placards very conspicuously in the background of news broadcasts. Nobody's going to change their minds if they see someone holding up a 'Stop Brexit' or 'Leave means Leave' sign while Beth Rigby interviews Peter Bone.

Everyone against the Tories would have the numbers hence the need for the DUP's support in the first place . I believe.
