Seems a lot was leaked for companies just going with it.

Enjoyed 5 except the forced kidnappings and piss poor DLC.

But on the whole it wasnt a bad game.

I put a good few hours into FC5 and then went back and completed FC3 that came with it so I'm done with the franchise for awhile.

On the subject of map re-use, as the Kotaku article pointed out, it was just the heightmaps that were reused with minor modifications, the world still had to be textured and filled with new vegetation and game assets to mirror the change in setting.

So is it, along with the general lack of innovation and technical issues in the title, worthy of a less-than-AAA price point? Sure. But should it have been included in the Season Pass? Nah, that's a bit much imo. For the price Ubisoft are asking, however, I'd expect three episodes of the standard and length of Blood Dragon, something they definitely didn't delivered on for the last two mainline iterations.

It depends on what area you done first IMO.

I done the whacked out poppy fields in Faiths area and I enjoyed it but spent most of time there and grew to hate it eventually. Had I went to Jacobs or Johns region first, it would have been a much better game as the areas had more going in them, I started to speed through their regions to complete the game as Faiths area was such a pain in the arse.

Unsure about this. But the pricing seems to indicate it's being treated as more of a side-step than a full game...$39.99 tag. So I'd probably give it a go, loved Far Cry 5 but not a fan of the wacky, sort of 'Borderlands' vibe off this.

They did reuse the map both this and Primal should have been in the season pass, bar Far cry 3 the season pass for 5 was really halfhearted, short and just seemed lazy.

They continue with the same formula as Assassin Creed. Yearly releases with very slight changes.
Not bad, just boring. So I'll do the same as I do with Assassins Creed. Buy it once every couple of years, that way at least it feels like a new experience when I do play it.

I found fc 5 a chore to finish but enjoyed it overall ,they made some.nice changes and hopefully they will do the same with this one again.

Can't wait for it. Only finished FC5 100% the other day. Took a long time but what a great game.
My only issue with it was the poxy planes that flew over your hear every 2 minutes and tried to kill you.

"Outrage marketing" It's a thing these days. Lunatics on the internet will go mental over something, hundreds of articles will be written about it and the product's name will be plastered everywhere.

Netflix's Witcher series used it too. There was a "leak" that Ciri was going to be played by a black girl, people lost their shít. In the end, it was a white girl anyway.

The same old crowd will get pissy over this cover with theories of "ethnic women killing evil white males!" when it'll be the same as every other Far Cry game and the protagonist will be a boring dryballs regardless of race/gender.

I remember individual games of MW2 from 2009 better than Far Cry 5. Something to do with a cult, flying helicopters, a bear and a dog companions.
Must not buy 6 at launch but will pick it up....probably at launch.
