Encrypted USB Keys
knucklehead6
Folks, has anyone ever heard of (or know where to purchase) USB keys that have an encryption algorithm as soon as you plug them in.
i know there are ones commercially available that have Vault technology, but these can still be treated as a standard USB key in that you can drag n drop data to them without it going into the vault.
I'm looking for something a bit more robust, that requires a password as soon as you plug it in to your machine, even straight from the packaging, almost as if it has an autorun requiring a password
We're using a mix of Windows 7 & 10 in our estate.
Thanks in advance

Exactly/ Any encryption will do this, Truecrypt, Bit locker etc. On any USB stick.
Do you mean you want to block the USB ports except for USB which are encrypted?
