However, nothing - and I mean nothing on the whole of Irish radio - has me jolting out of my car seat and reaching for the "off" button as the mere tone of Jennifer Gannons voice does. What an insufferable pain in the hole.

I can live with Ian Guider's accent because at least it's an Irish one. The other ones seem to have spent so much time watching 'Murican Bawks Sets, they've picked up the accent.

Have heard her on TLW a good bit over the last few months and she seems to cut through a lot of the BS and speak very good sense. She carries a huge amount of respect for me as a sexual assault victim who doesn't seem to have let this ruin her outlook on life and doesn't man bash like other contributors. She ran rings around Ciara Kelly in one debate ( Ciara was caught out and didn't know Larissa's backstory) and was made to look very unprofessional. Also, she had a recent debate with Roe McDermott (on the gender pay gap iirc) who didn't seem to like being challenged one bit. It's amusing how the SJWs default to snarkiness if they don't get their way. Finally, she rubbished the 'baby it's cold outside' "controversy" this week which had been championed by Aoife Barry the previous night. Fair play to Larissa! Honourable mention for Karl Deeter also. They just about balance out Jennifer Gannon. Her last 2 tv slots consisted of 80% celebrity get me out of here. I've no interest in this show, grand, I'm probably in the minority. But change it up a bit please. There are other shows to review, it shouldn't be an excuse for her to ramble away on a show she's clearly obsessed with. Sign of a bad reviewer. She's even making me resent Ed Smith just by association on that slot. And Ed is one of the good ones. Don't ruin him for the rest of us
TheDavester wrote: » I can’t take Gannon seriously (and the frayne guy who does it with her ) as a tv reviewer as she’s never seen the wire or breaking bad (and I’d guess more) and pushes love island/celeb jungle and other reality shows... she seems the type who still watches friends 5 times a day on Comedy Central ... and she usually has a rant or a selection that’s Pc approved... the hypocrisy she pulled earlier this year about the Sweden soccer team was nauseating as well

Surely if you get heartbroken over things that don’t really affect you much you should have a long look at your emotional state.

The two contributors on last night caused me to turn off for the first time ever. I haven’t the patience to put up with that crap, nor the linguistic ability to explain how much I wanted to extend my arm down the radio and strangle the two of them. I don’t have the outlet of social media, mainly because I need to avoid their type but there is no doubt that the extreme left leaning thought police who are offended on behalf of everybody are a destructive force in the world. It’ll get worse before it gets better too.

Probably since Trump got the POTUS job, cos since then he has gone off the rails. I find he sides with a lot of the snowflakers, lefties and lets them off unchallenged too often.
