If you aren’t saying “sack Jose, he’s the problem” they think you absolving him of all responsibility for the way things have gone. They actually think you are “shifting goalposts” if you try to go deeper into things. It’s kind of funny and annoying in equal measure cause it doesn’t lend itself to discussion and forces an echo chamber type community. Every fan knows and accepts the teams results and performances this year are not acceptable. Every fan knows that Jose is not doing well with this squad. Things surely can’t go on the way it’s going, I don’t know anybody saying what Jose is getting out of this team this season is good on any level. But taking a broader perspective on the club issues is not denying this or letting Jose off the hook. I think some People find focusing only on José Cathartic on several levels. They know that he can be sacked (we can’t get the board or glazers sacked). They know sacking Jose brings change and with that comes hope. It might not necessarily be good change but change of where We are at. Also to really explore the glazers/Woodward effect on the club could lead to the reality of our situation and destroy any hope that things might improve. In fairness , The short term bounce of a new coach is exciting for us all, but it doesn’t make the other club problems go away or answer any of the questions about the owners/Woodward that many fans don’t want to consider.

I wouldnt cry any tears if Jose got sacked but the root of the problem runs much deeper. Do any fans think we under achieved in those 5 seasons? Those seasons were missed opportunities sure, but quite simply we were not good enough and the current squad isnt good enough. Jose should be able to get more out of the team, akin to last year but you'd still be kidding yourself.Jose is one problem, his personality probably never fitted our club to begin with but after lvg we were at a low ebb so we turned to a winner. The players are a huge problem - Does anyone actually like the current crop of players apart from De Gea, who rarely lets us down? the squad is a pile of ****e that down tools way too easily. They lack quality, they lack heart and run away from the fight. We are leaderless and most of the players are over paid. I see lots of posters, post their team for tonight. How many of those 11 would get into Citys team? How many would even get into Liverpools, Spurs or Chelseas team? Would you like to go into battle with these lads? The board/Glazers are a major problem. - The Dallas Cowboys are not owned by the Glazers but they know them only too well. The Cowboys are generally Top of Forbes rich sports club every year. Yet it has nothing to do with their success on the field!! They haven't won the Super Bowl since 1995. But they are a money making machine, just like us. At the end of the day if the $$ are coming into the coffers then the Glazers are content.Transfer policy has been and is a massive problem - Andy Mitten recently said he met a top agent, who during the summer met United and City to discuss player recruitment. City knew exactly the type of player they wanted, for every position and the attributes the player required to have. When he met United (Ed), they just banded big names about. The United belief is a few Galacticos will fix it. Sanhez, Ibra, DI Maria, Falcao, Pogba, and Lukaku to name a few just havent worked out and prove otherwise. And yet we wont pay decent money on a defense that seriously needs upgrading. City buy 3 International full backs for £130m. United buy a 19yr old right back for £19m with limited experience.Player scouting is big problem - You look at someone like Richarlison at Everton that came from Watford & now doing very well on an International level. Surely he could have done a job. You then have Fred. Was he even scouted?? Supposedly 3 players who played with him have said off-record that he is good but not United standard. Thats a worry. We haven't unearthed a gem since Fergie's time.Lack of management continuity over the last few years has been a big problem. - Mentioned this before but Moyes was very conservative, LVG just want players to keep the ball, and Mourinho likes a solid & physical team that can over power opponents. All 3 managers had differents ideas on the game, and fancied different type of players. I think nearly all of LVG's signings have been shown the door at this stage.Lack of strategy and philosophy is another problem. - We dont have one. Its pilar to post and hope for the best.

If anyone else goes to see it tell me if I was right. It’s the part where they are bidding on the item. Thought it was a funny coincidence.
